Teni Tea
Teni tea is a family-run tea farm in Guria, western Georgia, led by Davit (“Dato”) Tenieshvili. Rooted in a family tradition and an artisan tea process, Tenitea hand-picks and crafts small batches of black, green and white tea, and also makes a distinctive fermented wild blueberry-leaf tisane.
The farm welcomes visitors for tea-route experiences—plucking in the garden and plantations, observing factory processing, then tasting flights often paired with local foods such as khachapuri—reflecting a philosophy that tea is best understood “from leaf to cup” through hospitality and hands-on learning.

Our Mission
The mission is twofold: revive Georgia’s historic tea culture with quality-first craftsmanship, and share Guria’s landscape and community through responsible tea tourism that sustains local livelihoods.
Tenitea’s story is also part of Georgia’s wider tea revival: Dato’s team helped rehabilitate one of the first Soviet-era plantations to modern, organic-minded production, and their wild and garden teas are frequently cited among Guria’s standouts. Looking ahead,
Tenitea’s future vision & expansion focus on deepening agro-tourism, training, and small-lot excellence rather than mass output—keeping the farm’s character artisanal, ecological, and proudly Gurian.
