Tenitea’s Tea Tour is an intimate, hands-on journey from leaf to cup in Guria, western Georgia. You begin with a warm welcome at the family garden, where you learn how terrain, cultivars, and seasons shape aroma and body.
In harvest months, guests can try selective plucking and feel the difference between bud-sets; outside harvest, you walk the rows and learn how pruning and shading influence the next flush. Inside the small factory, the team demonstrates withering, rolling, oxidation, and firing for black, green, and white styles, including the farm’s signature small-lot batches.

A guided tasting follows—brewed in both Georgian and modern methods—so you can compare terroir, processing, and water profiles side by side. Depending on the day, pairings may include simple local bites and a sip of their fermented wild blueberry-leaf tisane. Throughout, Tenitea shares the region’s revival story and their philosophy of quality over volume, hospitality over hype, and sustainable tourism that supports local livelihoods. Tours are small-group, typically 2–3 hours (half-day on request), with seasonal variations and optional farm-shop purchases.
